Giving Flowers

I have been drawing in ink on a folded piece of paper for a few weeks now. Sometimes I draw

when I'm on a train or other places. Last week, in a restaurant I continued my drawing which, was about a lady 'selling flowers'. After a few minutes a lady sat down and asked me about the drawing, she thought it could mean this or that and visualised her ideas and thoughts through the drawing even giving it her title.
Her name was Evie and she was from Lithuania.

So I gave her the drawing.

Afterwards I realised that several parts of the drawing had been recorded on my pda so here it is above left.

This chance encounter was 'beautiful' (a word artists don't use much these days)
and reciprocal - to be valued.. and the events transformed the original drawing.

PDA drawing in Spring

Just making a series of PDA drawings for an exhibition. They are created using a Palm Zire 71 and uploaded into Photoshop then joined together in sets of three.

I feel more comfortable with drawing than photography because it is a more intimate tactile experience.

Every Spring time, clocks are changed and there is more daylight at the end of the day - maybe I feel more creative now.

I made these drawings walking around a supermarket at 11 am -they are dependent on 'chance' as the screen I draw on has to be scrolled down so I can't see the whole drawing at any one time - I dont really know what they will look like until they are joined together. Creating art spontaneously in public places
involves additional senses - why do so few artists draw outside these days?
